parsing weak verbs: given an indicative weak verb in sentence context, be able to determine its person, number, and tense. Examples: hīe þæt gefremedon swā: gefremedon: third person plural preterite; hwæt, þū gehierst þæt ðe man micela spræca tō hæfð: gehierst: second person singular present. For more examples, see last week's handout, to which I have now also posted an answer key. On this quiz, I will only ask the verbs of which full paradigms are given in the textbook (§§116–126).
